For most parents, the day their child turns 21 is cause for great celebration.
As well as marking a gateway into adulthood and looming independence from their
parents, it is also a time to reflect on what their young offspring have
achieved thus far in their lives - whether that be completing army service or
university or preparing for a great career, marriage and future children.
