I wanted to let you know that I had a miscarriage Tuesday evening. The baby's heartrate was borderline normal for our first ultrasound last week, and on Monday I started spotting and the heartrate was only 80 bpm (about half what it should be). So, we knew that things weren't looking good.

I am feeling fine, and frankly relieved that it is over. The waiting for the inevitable miscarriage was much worse than the actual loss. Luckily it was very early and we know there was nothing we did or didn't do that caused it.

So we will try again when we get the ok from the docs. At least we know I can get pregnant fairly easily. That's a major hurdle already surmounted.

Linda
