just wondering about peak readings with the tw1, i know its probably not a
peak reading meter, but did you try an A. M carrier and a check of fwd
power, and then a whistle and a check at the same time of fwd power? just to
check on swing and forward modulation on A.M.
suppose that might work just as well with a cw tone or a tone generator of
some sort into the mic input.
A carier pwr level is alright for FM but for good A.M audio you gotta have
some forward swing.
Regards
Colin
