Several suggested that I call Bob's Red Mill (RBM) to validate the corn
cross contamination problem for those celiacs who are corn intolerant as
well. I called BRM and they confirmed that there could be cross
contamination of corn in their GF products. Therefore they will not
guarantee that there is no corn in their "corn free" GF products even though
there is no corn listed as one of the ingredients. They have no plans to
change this either since they make GF corn products as well and it is not in
a separate area. But they do clean the machines between runs to minimize
cross contamination.

Quotes from some on the list indicate that they are not aware of this
problem. Some suggested other sources:

"They grind corn in the regular facility and therefore do NOT consider any
of their corn products gf. You should not have problems w/GF items having
cross contamination from corn...the corn itself may be cross contaminated
which is why it is not gf."

"Raj from Pastariso (which is a gf plant) is a celiac, and told me on the
phone I should try Kinickinick for that reason. Our daughter is corn & soy
allergice and got sick on Bob's flour."

"The teff and mesquite flours I use in the Ruby Range mixes are corn free.
I can't be sure about the other ingredients. www.therubyrange.com"

"You should check out Authentic Foods. No contamination issues
http://www.authenticfoods.com"

"I've read other places that Bob's does their corn in the gluten building,
not in the GF area."
