I havn't got a mac yet, but there is a lot of info at the apple
web site
and at
http://www.macvisionaries.com

It doesn't appear to be turnkey out of the box, and the system
will have a learning curve as does all this stuff, but unless he
expects instant success with no effort, there appears to be a lot
to work with.
