I have this very same problem and have been trying off and on for the
past few years to get to the root of it. No luck.

I just wonder if I have a lurking demon of some kind?

Best regards,
Js

Subject: [VICUG-L] empty address book

Hi,

In Outlook Express, my address books appears to be empty.

When I fill out header boxes, the rest of the address will appear, but
if I
do not know the first few letters, I cannot access the address in the
book.

I went to the view menu when I was tabbed over to the address book, but
no
resolve.

Any ideas why the stored addresses are not displaying?

Thanks,

Ron
