I suggest he tries a re-install of Office or Excel, which in
turn will offer a "repair" option. (This will NOT loose
data)
If that fails, a System Restore to before the problem
started may be an option. This will not loose date file
either.
George.

Subject: [VICUG-L] Shortcut Keys Not Working in Excel 2003
Hello:
I was talking to a gentleman this morning who said his
shortcut keys are
not working as they should in Excel 2003. For example, he
can't use
ctrl-F to search for items in workbooks because this key
doesn't work.
I have never heard of this kind of thing happening, nor has
this
persons' excel class instructor. Has anyone heard of
shortcut keys not
working in Excel 2003 and if so, how it can be fixed?
Thanks,
