5.8 won't interfere with wireless networks and actually, the range is
pretty good on them.2.4 isn't' bad but that can interfere with
wireless networks though I didn't used to have much trouble when I
had one, once in a while there were strange noises or stuff that I
could only contribute to the network. I get better range out of my
5.8 GHz phones anyway and the panasonic 5.8 GHz phones my mother got
a few months ago have very good range. I was probably 1/4 of a mile
away the other day looking for my dog and still was able to call my
mother at work clear as a bell to tell her the dog ran away with his
chain. Then I found him and dropped the phone when I got him and
it's still working.
