Hey all:
Just wondering if there is anyone else on the list who would like me to ship
one of these excellent talking digital multi-meters out to them.
Some info for general consumtion:

Features include:
Volts DC up to 1000V, volts AC up to 750V
Resistance checker .
Diode checker
Audible continuity checker that emits a continuous beep when a short is
detected.
Capacitence checker
Frequency check up to 10MHZ (not sure if this means up to 10 MHZ with an RF
signal...probably not but i haven't tried it yet)
DC current and AC current measured in milli amps up to 400 milli amps DC or
AC

Button located on the posative lead probe to have the meter anounce the
value
A lock function that puts the anounce on continuous every 3 seconds or so it
will speak the value.
This meter speaks all that appears on the screen when the button either on
the probe, or on the meter is pressed.
Takes 3 double A batteries and yes, does have an off position, actually, 2
of them on the multy select control.
This meter is auto ranging as well, as are most digital multi-meters now.

i will submit the manual to
"i can work this thing.com"
so people can take a look at the various features and functions in more
detail.
The brand is nexxtech here in canada, but the meter is made by Orbyx
electronics, a united states company.
If one searches hard enough, there might be a retailer in the US but i am
not aware of one.
these meters, here in canada are priced at $39.99
