i found it on www.qrz.com under radio mods, models T through Z and then
looked at the TM V7A file as well as the G707 file...since these radios are
very close in design the service menu access works the same...there are some
mars/cap mods on there too which includes the snipping of two jumper loops,
no trying to find tiny resistors or scraping the board just a snip of 2
looped wires on the board and it opens up the receiver a little...to get the
extended TX you have to take out the resistor though.
Its interesting that the mods that work for the G707 and D700 will work
exactly the same on the TM V7A.
For the service menu information look under the TM G707A.txt link.  It gives
the steps to adjust deviation.

You use a PS2 plug, or the plug that is on the end of a computer desktop
keyboard cable, and short pins 3 and 6 on the radio plug.  the rest of the
instructions are on the site.
