Even on some ham rigs that can act as scanners I have found they scan far
slower then there scanner counterparts, but it all depends on where you are,
and even if your rig can pick up 800 and 900 MHz, and your system was
analogue it would be time consuming to chase everything around, especially
on a larger system.
