Hi Anthony.

It was the software for controling the radio rather than the memory control
software that I was wondering about.  I downloaded the memory control
software, recalling that several people had commented about its speech
friendliness in the past.

Like Walt, I don't have the appropriate cabling to interface the computer
and the radio yet.  I'm going to try to go to one of the computer stores
around here after work on Monday.  I did try Radio Shack, but they didn't
have anything to offer other than putting a gender changer on a standard
serial cable.  I may still fall back on that, but I'd rather not have that
much hanging off the back of my radio, or my computer for that matter.
