Glenn,
This may sound daft as the Dell machine is only six months old but does it
support USB 2 Or USB 1. you may have to go to the Dell website and track
down the latest set of USB drivers that they have. Your flash drive should
work with both, XP pro will support both standards. On older versions of
windows you need to load the drivers that came with/or download to enable
the drive to work, I had to do this for my 98se machine but my XP pro laptop
recognised it and worked without problem
The camera will have been supplied with a disk that would have all the
software and drivers to enable it to work that is why you are not having any
problems with that.
