I'm looking for sage advice from the list. First, I'm interested in buying a portable HF receiver for taking on trips abroad. I want a
receiver that has a BFO and covers the entire HF spectrum. I'd prefer the receiver to have a tuning dial as well as digital entry -- like
the sony 2010. (Unfortunately, Sony doesn't make the 2010 anymore!) Anybody got a recommendation?

also, what desktop HF receivers are available with talking frequency readouts? It's been years since I was in the receiver market and
am not sure what's available now.
Thanks for the advice!
