706 is much smaller then the other 2, the yaesu isn't near as accessible as
the icom or the Kenwood and the Kenwood is a really the better one over all
since it has room inside for the auto tuner, more antenna jacks and better
DSP and a quieter receiver. I'll be getting a TS-2000 when I can get the
credit card bill down some, so I'll have that in the house all the time and
then the 706 for mobile/portable/backup.
