I have read many of the posts and they explain how they got sick from
eating gluten. I don't feel much different since I went gluten free Nov.11,
2005. A couple of questions: When will I begin to feel better? How will I
know I have made a mistake and ingested gluten? I have tried to be careful
and read all ingredients and called companies when I wasn't sure. But I
don't know how I will tell when I have made a mistake.
I have fibromyalgia, and chronic back and neck pain along with severe
enviornmental allergies (dust, mold, pine, horses). But I did make a
mistake in the beginning with soy sauce as a sushi restaurant, since then I
think I have done ok. I checked up on all my medications, had to change my
vitamins when I found them to contain gluten.
I guess my big question is when will I know I am doing this right? Will I
ever know? and am I being to impatient? I understand my intestines won't
heal for years. This may be just a sign of my depression over this
diagnosis but has been hard to adjust.
Sherrell (just glad I am in Florida where at least on top of all this I am
not cold!)
