Subject: Re: [PCBUILD] Overlay software

The drive is Western Digital. I have visted their web site unfortunately the
dont offer any support to this effect. Any links to sites with this support
would be useful.

Western Digital's utility formerly known as EZDrive is now called Data
Lifeguard Tools.
Try browsing to the following link and see if your drive or drive family is
listed. If it is
supported, download the tools archive, unzip it, and follow the instructions
for its use.

Good luck. (BTW, since your BIOS will support up to an 8GB drive, it may
already
be as up-to-date as it can be. If there *is* a more recent revision for your
motherboard,
updating or flashing the BIOS may be a better option. Dynamic Drive Overlays
do not
make for as reliable a solution as a motherboard/BIOS/drive controller that
natively supports
larger disks. If you do decide to flash your BIOS, carefully follow all
instructions to
the letter, or the computer may never boot again.)
