I want to purchase a CD ROM writer for archival purposes. I know that SCSI
is faster and probably better but I don't have a SCSI setup and I won't be
using the drive that much so IDE will be adequate for my purposes. I will
use the drive to make backup / archival CD's and maybe an occasional audio
CD. I will also use the CD as a second CD ROM drive with something like
Bookshelf left in it so 6 times read speed will be fast enough. >>

Hi,
Mitsumi has a good one. Sometimes the packages will include the software
for burning Music Cd's. Installing is basically the same as any other. I have
the sales software for CD Writers if you would like to see the specs for them.
