Phil,
I thanked God for a big answered prayer just recently. My roommate tracey
works for Qwest, and their contract was up a week ago. I prayed taht they
would reach an agreement without striking. We would have been bad off had
their been a strike. The agreement didn't come until a couple days after
the contract expired, but there was no strike. Not only that, but Tracey
gets a raise! God does supply our needs.

>It is just under 60 degrees at almost 11 PM here in Denver. It was a
>wonderful day, getting into the mid eighties, but then, as so often is the
>case during august afternoons, it clouded up and rained off and on. This
>drops the temperature, of course, and it has been getting into the low
>fifties at night. That's common for this time of year.

>I've noticed echurch being sort of quiet this weekend so why not, I
>figured,
>offer a weather report. Of course, this is generally ban on most mailing
>list but I always find a way to break the rules.

>We had a great Friday evening prayer meeting here at our home and we plan

>having just as good of Sunday morning Service tomorrow.

>Friday night, my 23 year old daughter in law, who has been praying for the
>gift of tongues, without telling anyone, received that gift Friday night as
>we prayed. No, we weren't yelling, jumping or rolling around, we were just
>praying. Donna didn't tell us until she went home. Some people are a
>little shy. Not many pray in tongues during our Friday night prayer
>groups,
>although I probably do more than anyone. Even then, I only do so when I
>feel led. I did not do so Friday night so Donna wasn't trying to copy me,
>if that's what you are wondering. Funny how the Lord works. This is
>something she personally has been asking the Lord about for several weeks.
>Well, it's done and praise God for His answers to prayer. Can you recall
>the last time you thanked God for an answer to a prayer? What was it,
>then?
>share that last prayer answer with us on the list. I, for one, would love
>to hear it.
