You are so right! Drugs have to be the most selfish thing that a person
can do. I just pray that Chris gets caught sooner than later. Greg talked
to the probation officer this morning about the fact that Chris added water
to the test. She said that next time, she might add another stick that
will tip her off if he does it again, but for now, even if he is using, it
is at a low enough level that it isn't showing up in his face and he hasn't
resorted to criminal activity yet to supply his fix so, legally, her hands
are tied as well. What a crazy system! Chris had to pull a knife on us
before the criminal justice system took us seriously about how he was
treating our family. What else does he have to do to get noticed. I don't
want to be around for it.
