Unfortunately no hehehe. Technically your work is copyrighted the minute
you put it to paper. It is registered as copyrighted when you fil out the
forms with LOC, Library of Congress. If there ever came a question of who
had a piece first, the copyright registration would rule, and if that was
ever really challenged, and the piece was worth a fight, let's say you had
a number one hit stolen from you? lol. You could appeal it and show a
continual proof of your construction of the work and if it was dated prior
to a copyright registration, one might get the courts to side with you. I
suppose a self-mailed envelope unopenned might aid in the latter case but
it is so rare it is probably not worth mentioning. So why did I? I
haven't a clue. I just started typing and out it came lol.

Could use that cheap copyright know as the mail yourself the song but done
open the envelope. Don't know if that really works though.
