I think it is a great idea for kids that have no mental notion of being  
different.  I am sure that if your child would know they difference they  wold not 
do it.
 
But having a 69 lbs child that will always need diapers and not walk.   I 
would do it if she were not mental age 7.  IF she were mental age 2 or 3  I think 
it would be great.  As it is when she gets to be 100 or 150 lbs how  will I 
be able to change her diaper 8 times a day and not hurt my back.  I  am the 
only care giver.  I do not want her in a home where she will be left  in a wet 
diaper and someone could rape her...(as we have all heard in the  news).
