My computer is under 2 years old, would reformatting take installing XP and
other software again? I have Norton's Internet Security installed, and I'm
thinking about purchasing Norton's System Works. What would you suggest?
Thanks,
Anthony

How long have you had your computer. Sometimes it takes saving all your
data and reformating the whole hard drive to get the bugger to work better
again. I defrag, error report, run antispyware and antivirals all the time.
Have you done those?

Beth,
Since your husband is a computer geek, I have another question to throw his
way, if you don't mind. Every so often I like to defrag my hard drive to
get better performance, I use the defragger that's built into XP but it
takes 3-6 hours to complete, and I don't see my computer performing as it
did for the first while after receiving it. Can you check with your husband
to see what he suggests?
Thanks,
Anthony
