bet you love hearing that.
anyway, if control is switched to the mike DTMF pad, all functions will
speak when the corresponding button is pressed...for instance, the six key
turns into a freq readout and will read out VFO frequency or MR chan number
and frequency if you pres it.
and yes, they do beep, the typical high and low beep that all the other
functions of the radio cause when used.
If you have the beep turned on in the PM that you are using, you will hear
the beep when you press a button on the microphone.
