Hi Bob,

The path to your Outlook Express Mail files (DBX type) are in Windows XP:

c:\documents and settings\<computer user name>\local settings\application
data\identities\<large variable hexidecimal folder name>\Microsoft\outlook
Express. In Windows versions earlier than XP, the path is the same
beginning with application data.

There is a program called DB Extract available from the JFW Lite page under
programs that will extract the mail messages from the DBX files as Microsoft
Mail Files (.EML) extensions.

Where in the heck does OE store Mail Files? I want to save several message
folders to CD before reformatting a drive. I searched using XP's search
option. You may contact me off group.
