Hi;
its not new but the ic735 was small and with a key pad was quite usable.
You could probably find one used for a good price.

Subject: Thanks For Help, A little more help please.
Hi Folks, First___ Thanks_____! for all the help re the Kenwood line of HF
accessible radios. Further question, is there anything fairly small in an
Icom, that's not_____ Very Menu deep. I'd love to find something comparable
to the Kenwood ts440 in terms of "computerness," in other words, that's
about as far into computer control as I want to go for this application, as
it's kind of hard to run a radio from the computer while backpacking. I've
had a 706 and a Yaesu FT817, both _Way too menu deep for this application.
Any suggestions from your Icom pasts? Sorry to bug you folks, but you're a
mighty fine source of good info. Thanks again, Danny Dyer, Wb4idu, reply
