Anthony:
My experience with the TMD700 is limited at this point, but will
increasse soon because this is the other radio we are installing
at our County's EOC.
I can tell you that it seems to behave fairly similarly to the
TMV7A, and the speech output with the VS3 chip gives more
information, such as your power level, and I believe the menu
number.
I may have more details soon, but my experience with the rig so
far has been good.
Frequencies are entered via the microphone like the Kenwood
TMV7A.
Hope this helps a little. Will be interested in other posts on
this rig.

Subject: ANY EXPERICENCE WITH THE TM-D700!!!
Hi Everyone;
Does anyone have any experience with the KENEWOOD TM-D700?
This radio I understand has an excellent receiver for vhf uhf
and,
since it is computer programmable, it might be a viable
alternative
to the discontinued TM-V7A.
