    Thanks, John.

I guess it will remain a mystery as to why this isn't a programming
possibility for these radios.

I know the link system arrangement I am speaking of here is rather strange,
but I can't believe it doesn't exist in other places.

Oh well, such is life, I guess.  (grin)
