Hi Kevin.
If you can lay your hands on the Stone Mountain QSYer, that will control
the IC-735. I'm not sure what is available for computer software to
control it, but I will say this: if you can find a way to control it, the
'735 has a great receiver and it sounds quite good on the air, too. I ran
one for ten years. Admittedly, I still had good vision at that time, so
accessibility wasn't a concern. However, it is not a menu driven
radio--it's all switches and variable controls, so some things are much
easier with that radio. Knowing what frequency you are on is the big
problem. I would have to read through the literature for the Millenium
QSYer to see if it can control the IC-735. I almost think that it was
possible with modifications, but I wouldn't swear to it. Let me go back
and do some reading and I'll get back to you on it.
