there's a guy here that runs a swap and sell net and I can hear when he does
that, what sounds like a braille n speak in the background, I've never
really been able to talk to him about it but I thought that was cool, I
usually use the radio desk computer for traffic unless I'm dealing with a
lot or some one with a tendency to go fast then I record it and take it down
later though I type fast enough that it's not a problem anyway, just good to
have the backup just in case.

On the few occasions where I was called upon to pass traffic, I tape
recorded it. I referred to it later on my own. I suppose if I'm actually on
air I'd copy either using Braille or put it in to my computer. I used to
have a Braille and speak and I could have used it too. On a few of our nets
here in Toronto I can tell some of the net controllers and traffic handlers
are blind because they have their jaws in the background going while they
talk. I think that's pretty cool.
