Well, for accessibility, the tm-g707A reads PL tones to you and the V7A
doesn't. neither one reads menus but on the TM-G707 they're easy enough to
figure out, I don't know about the V7 in that aspect. The V7 is being or has
been replaced by the TM-V708 which I know nothing about. The only real other
differences in the V7 and the G707 is the V7 has duel receive and the G707
doesn't but I just leave mine in scan mode. with echolink coming up like
weeds on all the local repeaters I'll probably be giving up my constant
monitoring of repeaters anyway very soon since they're all getting busy but
we'll see what happens. Anyway, that's the run down. I don't know about the
new V708, I'd try it but I just don't have the money or interest right now.

Subject: comparison of kenwood tmv7a and tmg7?

I know this has been discussed before, however, wasn't in the market for a
mobile.

Can someone give me the quick run down on these rigs, especially concerning
accessibility?

THanks and 73.
