Hey Bob, Congradulations on the general ticket.  You will learn more as
you start playing with equipment and getting experience with different
operating modes.  You can read about them and people can explane things,
but there is nothing like hands on experence, in my humble opinion.  Let
us know when you get the hand held and if there are any repeaters in your
area that have echo link or I R L P.
