I have a client that has a IBM DeskStar circa 2000 that refuses to boot or
be read by the IBM diagnostic program that I put on bootable floppy.  I
remember some time ago there was a  procedure that involved putting the
drive into a deep freeze  and to try to access it long enough to get some
important files off of it.  Anyone remember the specifics?  TIA   Mark
