I love brown rice, but ONLY if it's cooked right. I like it chewy & moist.
I like Tsuru Mai brand found in the Asian section of the grocery store.
This is how I do it:
3 cups short grain brown rice
5 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oil or butter
Put ingredients into a large, deep Corning Ware casserole dish. Boil on
stove top for 2 or 3 minutes. Transfer to microwave. Cover & cook at 40%
power for 55 minutes.
