I full endorse what Kevin says.  Tamir does not beat the paleofood drum, but he uses that
paradigm for his approach to modern diseases (the first 30 pages), diet (the next 30 pages),
exercise (the next 60 pages) and "advice for healthy living" (12 pages).

I bought three copies, gave one to my son and keep two: one I lend out and the other I keep to
hand at all times.

Tamir wrote the book while he was studying medicine in the US and published it in its present
form after he graduated. This probably explains why the opening few pages are about medical
research. This appears to be a dry and uninteresting way to begin, but it is, in fact, this part of the
book I consult most frequently - unique and, as Kevin says - well-written for the lay person.
