Phil,
Good thought!  God gave His son knowing that few would accept Him.  Jesus
gave His life knowing that many would not  serve Him. Like you in your
willingness to exchange your life for Jennifer, we would all puts
requirements on our service but Christ gave Himself freely, without
limitation and without condition.
