It is very easy to make your own soap. This website has lots of great info:

http://www.millersoap.com/

Her recipes are great. None of the recipes I have tried are at all
caustic, the recipes are 'superfatted', in fact, for extra
moisturizing.

I make loads of soap and sell it. The goat milk, oatmeal, and honey
soap is outstanding for dry skin/rosacea (sp?) Another good soap for
sensitive skin would be a castile bar - just olive oil, lye & water.
It doesn't lather as well as most soaps, and it is a bit soft and will
go to goo in the shower if it's not kept dry, but is is very gentle.
and moisturizing

About soaps that lather a lot, when you add coconut oil to your soap,
it increases the lather. Ironically, when you add to much, it can dry
the skin out badly.

I haven't bought soap at the store for over a year. :)
