Would somebody please shoot me and put me out of my misery and deliver me
from these knucklehead preachers?

Phil.

Subject: Disruption squelching the spirit

> What do you think.
> A pastor preached about squelching the spirit and disrupting service. He
said that if you have to pass gas, sneeze, blow your nose, flick your hair,
that you squelch the spirit. And that you should go into the bathroom to
do these things. You have to be sensitive to all those around you. Now who
ever was desterved by these things must have not been focussing on Jesus.
No this same pastor during prayer and singing and the service holds a
grand-baby kisses it and the baby can run around the church at all times.
Now wouldn't you think that everyone running to the bathroom everytime they
have to do something and the pastor/baby situation would be more disruptive
to the service. Personally I have not been bothered by anything when I am
praiseing and worshipping because I am totally focused on the Lord.
