Hey Vicki,
We've also learned that God's glory will be on display for the
probation officer as well. Yesterday, Greg stopped by her office again to
show her the pot that I had found and to tell her about Chris's plans for
this Friday. Well, she told Greg to throw away the pot and that there's
nothing that can be done about the cocaine since it is hearsay. then she
said, I don't know how families like yours do it. Greg was able to witness
to her a bit about the grace of God. Then Greg told her that we still have
hope that Chris will turn around. Then she told Greg, I don't have that
hope, he's too far gone and too out of control. All I can say is, "go
God! Show her your stuff!"
When Greg came home and told me what Donna, the probation officer
had said, I asked him, just how bad was he in the office? Greg said,
"actually, he was pretty polite for chris!" Maybe we're dealing with a
worse situation than even I realized.
Anyway, just keep praying against this upcoming situation!
God bless,
Kathy
