That is interesting as well. I sort of understand your analogy of texture
to notes, or more so chords with me. B flat is a very coarse grainy but
pleasantly even and symetrical graininess. C is broken and somewhat
unordered with varying size grains, G is very fine and pure texture. It is
funny how one interprets such senses. for instance, I read Braille but see
the print word in my mind and read it that way. Years ago when I took
guitar lessons and my teacher was teaching me musical modes, Ionian,
Frydian, Lydian, and so on, he said there was  more to the blues being the
emotional standing it has, it actually has to do with color as does the
other moeds and styles.

some people taste color or shapes or sounds.  I personally visualize words
in color.  Brad, for example, is a dark purple, almost black, color.  Phil
is white.  Carol is yellow.  Karen is red.  Janet is green.  Charlotte is
yellowish brown.
