Being totally blind,hard-of-hearing, and sometimes depressed makes it very
difficult for me to reach out and be friendly. If I'm in a crowd of people,
I don't want to yell, "Hey! I want to talk with somebody!!!" and hit people
with my cane to get their attention. It's mostly mumble-jumble. Lately,
I've been feeling better in the afternoon or evenings on weekdays and
evenings weekends, and, as you can tell, I do better at conversing via
email.
