I think this is what is difficult to get my head wrapped around. : )
You spend your whole life counting calories a certain way, and now I
need to understand the difference in the food I am eating verses
caloric intake.  When I look at a breakdown of my meals today, it
shows 58% of it was fat.  Also that I ate 45 grams of protein.

I was raised with ounces and pounds. *g*  (I think metrics were
entering the elementary schools when I was getting ready to graduate).
 So I don't know if trying to understand the protein gram thing is my
problem or what.
