on this thread.

I have been a member where I am now going on 18 years.  I don't know that I
have ever been totally happy with the church and have given thought many
times to looking somewhere else.  However, my committment is to the Lord and
not to a particular congregation.  It would be nice to find the perfect
church, but sa Brad put it, we would ruin it!  I am the cok-eyed optimist
and believe that one day the Lord will mkae us a powerful concregation for
Him in our community.  I want to be part of that.  Besides, if no one is
doing it right, that gives me a greater opportunity for doing it right.  My
prayer is that the Lord can use me to make a difference in our congregation
and that together we can make a difference in this world for Him.
