Some here may not recall how this began. Sandy kept talking about a growth
on her arm and that it was changing texture. Finally she made an
appointment. Good thing she didn't wait much longer, too, or she'd be dead
now. Anyhow, as I sat in my office a couple of nights before the doctor's
appointment, the Lord said to me, "It will be cancer but they will get it
all the first time." I believe this was true since the Lord spoke it. It
was. They got it all at the dermatologist's office but she was then, based
upon the depth of the malignant melanoma, referred to an Oncologist or
cancer specialist. He is a wonderful man but his threatening words of what
could happen were devastating to say the least. Yet, God's eternal Words
rang in my ears. Sandy elected to follow the advice of the cancer doctor so
she had to go to the hospital for testing. They wanted to locate the
nearest lymph node. Her skin cancer had been 31 millimeters in depth. If
it had only been thirty, the doctor said he would not recommend the followup
steps. Thank the Lord, it had not reached Sandy's lymphatic system for if
it had, she would have been dead in a year or less. She also, by the
doctor's recommendation, elected to begin interferon shots three times a
week which she administered herself. Sandy was then sick with flue like
symptoms 6 days out of every seven. No, it was not an easy year. God's
Word prove to be true and every man a liar, Romans 3:4, and after 12 months
of the shots, the doctor stopped them. they had been recommended to last
for 18 months but newer data show that 12 months was long enough for her
case. Of course, after Sandy was better, I went bust with panic attacks,
anxiety that lasted 24 hours a day, the hearing of demonic voices that
strongly suggested I kill myself, and a whole lot of other things I never
dreamed was possible. This led me into the ministry the Lord had in reserve
for me all these many years. This does not mean, of course, that everything
turns out perfect. Sometimes loved ones die. Some times adoptions fall
through or never materialize in the first place and couples are left with a
deep void in their life at this time of year. Sometimes children turn
against God and their family. Yet, above it all, God is still God and He
hasn't forgotten who He is and He hasn't forgotten who we are. Walk in
confidence. If you can't do that, let someone help you walk because we are
on our way to the promise land. Talk about an electronic church. Wow!

Phil.
