Dear Marvella,

I'm so sad for you!  I too had a sweet canary for many years,  and his song
was one of the most beautiful I have ever heard.  I used to let him out of
the cage to fly free around the house.  One winter, the landlady where I
lived wouldn't turn up the heat, and he died from exposure to the cold.
Losing a beloved pet sometimes can be as heartbreaking as losing any other
family member.  I pray you will experience God's comfort and the hurt will
heal quickly.
