Well I have to take back what I said last time--

We went to Bennigan's Friday night and their menu now has the words "gluten free" removed from them. The website still has it with the words on the low carb menu.

Like I said--I had talked to 3 different people and nothing had been said about pulling it, but I was assured that everything was G, just probably was a cross contamination thing and was told to talk to a manager the next time I went there.

Well we went and I talked to a manager and he opened the menu up before we even got to a table and there was no "gluten free" on the menu. I talked to him and he said that he would make sure that the grill was clean and that there was no seasoning even used on my hamburger. Then he said he would even cook it himself and "stay with it" so no one else touched it. We suggested cooking it on tinfoil and his eyes widened and he said "wonderful"!

My meal was wonderful (I stuck with the low carb American burger with no seasoning and the steamed broccoli. Everything was great and I didn't get sick!

This experience was much better since my first outing to "trust" someone cooking for me was a total set back for me with me getting so severely sick, but this time was much better after talking directly with a manager, which I definitely will do in the future wherever I am at!

Just wanted to let you all know that Bennigan's does say that their low carb meals are GF, but they can't necessarily guarantee the cross contamination issue and so that is why they took it off the menu.
