Hi Dory,
I wonder which method you are using to read your PDF files. I've had a
lot of problems with my Adobe Reader 6.0 when I try to read a book online.
Internet Explorer and Adobe conflict with each other, as confirmed in the
Adobe support forum. The method I have good luck with is by downloading
the file and reading it offline. That is, by right clicking on the link of
the book, choosing Save Target As, and sending the file to My Documents.
Then, you can close your Internet connection and read the book offline.
I've heard Adobe Reader 7.0 is more accessible, but I'm having pretty good
luck with this present setup.
   Hope this helps.
   Best regards, Bob N
