There's an opportunity during installation of the OS where you can give
the folder a name of your own choosing. But once it's installed and
running, it's somewhat harder to change. You can't do it while the OS is
relying on that path to find its own pieces!
Your best bet, then, is to rename it while *some other OS* is running the
machine. See

Note that you want to do a bit more than just change the name of the
folder. You'll need to change every path stored in the registry to reflect
the new name. And there's a hidden system file at the root named "boot.ini"
which tells the boot loader where to find Windows, so that has to change
too.
Or you could re-install the OS and applications....
