You know, this may sound really simplistic, but I have always had the
belief that carbs are only useful for short high energy bursts, and fat
stores useful for endurance activities. I believed that when I was younger
and did a lot of long distance cycling and backpacking, and I see no reason
not to believe it today.
Although I am not a runner, I'd appreciate it if you kept us apprised of
your low-carb running experiences in the future. I have had some debate
about this on another list, and any "ammo" you can provide would be of
great value :)
