Interactive Breakouts on Barriers to our Organizing-how various dynamics affect and afflict our organizing work; how to make organizations more culturally competent with regard to young people and youth issues; strategies to resist the forces that tear us a part.; Anti-War/ Counter Recruitment-Discussion about the war, anti-war activism and strategies to be effective in anti-war organizing; Everyday Activism/Everyday Acts of Resistance- Discussion about non- traditional modes of activism, how we see activism in our own everyday lives.

The Radical Black Feminist Organizing Tradition will explore how have radical Black feminists organized for social change. Areas of discussion include radical black lesbian organizing; black feminists* response to the HIV/AIDS crisis; organizing issues for black women workers; and organizing models for reproductive justice. Presenters are Loretta Ross (SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Health Collective); Dazon Dixon Diallo (SisterLove Women*s AIDS Projects); Layli Phillips (Women*s Studies-Georgia State University); and Rukiya Dillahunt (Black Workers for Justice).
